Notes: The first lesson you learn from Augustus Rookwood is to not play him at cards, because he will kick your arse. The second thing you learn from him is not to play him at snooker or pool either, because he'll beat you at that too.

So, he stinks of cigarette smoke and alcohol, has an old, musty-smelling trenchcoat, his hair is kind of lank and greasy (though I know it just looks shiny-pretty here), his voice is smooth and oily, and he's probably got dirt and nicotine stains on his too-long fingernails. He's a veritable sleazebag, the kind that hangs about in seedy bars and beats everyone at poker and is SO SMUG.
